The WindPath Scheduler

The WindPath Scheduler was created with several objectives in mind:

• Allow additional use at no extra charge if the yacht is available
• Allow trip durations ranging from a half day to a full week
• An understanding that weekends and holidays are more desirable times

• Answer urges for spontaneous use
• Prevent any single Member from dominating the schedule

After months of research and development we put together a set of conventions to govern how yachts are shared. Once the conventions were developed we went to work devising a means to put them to practical use. What we ended up with is the most advanced, user friendly, decision oriented scheduling software developed to date.

The WindPath Scheduler is an Internet based real time application with one major function: to get you out on the water sailing when you want to be there.

View and Reserve time slots up to a year in advance

• Reserving a time slot within 24 hours of its start does not count against your 7 guaranteed slots for the month
• Take unused time from a previous month, and borrow time from the next month to book up to 7 days of continuous use
• Invite friends to join you sailing
• Place swap requests with other members
• Wait list for a reserved time you desire
• Communicate with other Members and WindPath staff
